The history of the deities of Sri Sri Radha Madan Mohan.

Sri Sri Radha Madan Mohan are the deities located in a little village called Jaleswar, in Balasore district. They are being worshipped by His devotees who are simple people. The pastime behind the deities is very fascinating.
               There once lived a Land- Lord of Jaleswar who was a very pious and devoted man. He looked after his subjects very well. One night he had a dream about the Lord and in his dream the Lord appeared mentioning that He wanted to reside in this particular tract of land. The Land- Lord was astonished when he woke up in the morning. After his meditation and other duties, he asked his subjects to go and look for this deity, but of no avail. Unable to contain himself, the Land Lord wept and by the Lord's mercy fell into deep sleep. Then the Lord appeared in the his dream and exactly mentioned where He was, in which shop He was present and He had to be brought and exactly later they found this black stone deity of the Lord. First He was installed in a very fine ceremony and later Sri Radharani was installed. To this day the pujari's continue their loving devotional service to the Lord, considering Him to be their son. Madan Mohan weight 28 kgs made of black stone and Srimati Radharani weighs 22 kgs made of Pancaloha or 5 metals.
            This land of Jaleswar is very auspicious and boasts of the river Suvarnarekha flowing, where Lord Caitanya took a dip in the river during His visit to Jagannath Puri. Many Vaishnava Acaryas have said to have visited this place. There are also deities of Radha Govinda Jiu, temples of Lord Shiva and Mother Durga too. Each house has a temple, an altar and mainly have the deities of Lord Jagannath which is prominently seen in Orissa.
            Unfortunately most of the temple of Sri Sri Radha Madan Mohan is broken down, the walls unpainted and have a very bad altar.The pujari of the temple requested me if I could arrange for the painting of the temple and as well making of the altar. To enliven it even more, there will be a Siksalaya( pre Gurukula traning) which needs to be established. For that land needs to be purchased. There will be free education as well as protection of cows. For this to be done we need people to sponsor so that all these services can be functioned nicely. So I'm requesting you to donate as much as you can and probably mention this to your friends. Little by little we collectively can and ensure the blessings of Radha Madan Mohan always be with us.
